Much of the performance, most of the looks, and yet half of the price of competitors – are the Philips PH805s the year's biggest no-brainer?

Well made Good battery life Punchy, controlled, and detailed sound

Noise cancelation could be more effective Not the most dynamic sound

Where materials, build and sound are concerned, these Philips headphones are better than their price suggests. Active noise-cancelling lets the side down just a bit, though.
