Moto 360 Sport

Announced alongside the Moto 360 2 late last year, the Moto 360 Sport is – as the name suggests – a smartwatch meant to be worn with your tracksuit rather than your three-piece suit.

Great display in all conditions ; Accurate and fast GPS ; Android Wear is getting better

Limited number of workout options ; Battery drains very fast with GPS on ; Crap strap

Moto 360 Sport review: Solid smartwatch, subpar workout tool

The Moto 360 Sport doesn't stray too far from the path this year's other Moto 360s took, but goodies like its AnyLight hybrid display make it great watch for the outdoors. It's plenty snappy for an Android Wear watch, too -- we just wish the hardware...

"Hybrid" display works great ; GPS does a respectable job tracking runs ; Lightweight and comfortable

Can't swap out the watch band ; Could use more physical controls ; Battery life could have been better

There are people who couldn't care less about fitness stats on a watch, and there are people who crave them. The Moto 360 Sport really only makes sense to people who fall smack in the middle. It's functional and even ingenious in some ways, but it...

Moto 360 Sport review

A hampered hybrid

GPS and easy run tracking ; Smart screen tech

Poor battery life ; Unreliable HR sensor ; No multi-sport tracking

The Moto 360 Sport has a screen to envy and better sports skills than most smartwatches, but its battery life is lacking and as a tracker it still can't compete with fitness wearables.

Moto 360 Sport review: Only runners need apply

I hate running. It's not just because I have bad knees and it hurts to run—I would rather lift weights and get my cardio on a recumbent bike where I can distract myself playing mobile games. Motorola's fitness-focused version of the Moto 360 is not for...

Works just fine as a standard Android Wear watch ; AnyLight display makes ambient mode easy to read in the sun

Only comes in one size and style ; Fitness tracking is optimized around running only

Optimized for running (and only running), the Moto 360 Sport compromises on too much of what we loved about the 2nd generation Moto 360. If you love to run, and only run, it's a reasonable option.

Motorola Moto 360 Sport review

This weekend, I will be running a 10-mile road race. It will be my first in nearly five years. To prepare for it, I've been running regularly for the past few months with an assortment of gadgets: the Garmin Forerunner 235/630, TomTom Spark , Fitbit...

The Moto 360 Sport has GPS for tracking pace and distance when running, and a display that is easy to read in different environments.

Battery life is dreadful; running features are limited; expensive compared to similar GPS watches; Android Wear still feels like a work in progress.

The Moto 360 Sport offers no compelling justification for you to buy it versus one of the many competing dedicated smart running watches.

Motorola Moto 360 Sport

The Motorola Moto 360 Sport is a solid smartwatch for runners, but cyclists and swimmers will be better served by a dedicated activity tracker.

Attractive, sporty design. Built-in GPS and heart rate sensor. Comfortable band.

Only tracks running. Heart rate sensor is sometimes inaccurate. Poor battery life in testing. Android Wear still needs work.

Conclusion The Moto 360 Sport is one of the better Android Wear options available, thanks to its GPS and heart rate sensor. Some Android Wear watches have one or the other, but the Moto 360 Sport is the only one with both. If you're not a runner,...

Moto 360 Sport review

When Motorola announced that it would be making a new sport watch, it was not unreasonable to think that it might be an improved version of something like the MotoActv, a 2011 release that won over...

Sweat-proof band ; Includes GPS ; Outdoor readable display

Currently only tracks running ; Android Wear is still a work in progress ; Requires daily charging

Moto 360 Sport review: top smartwatch, sub-par running watch

Perfect if you want an everyday smartwatch without the faux-luxe other brands offer

Clear ; adaptable screen ; Comfortable ; casual aesthetic ; Accurate GPS

Lint magnet ; Not a true sports watch sub.

Motorola Moto 360 Sport review: Lifestyling sport

The second-gen Motorola 360 Android Wear watch has a special edition that's pitched towards sports training. That's obvious enough from its Moto 360 Sport namesake, perhaps bringing some clarity to a segment of wearable technology that's a little...

Comfortable, cheaper than regular Moto 360, GPS onboard

Battery life as a sports watch, only caters for running, flat tyre display, heart rate monitoring can be a little variable

In the Moto 360 Sport you have an interesting device. Moto is pushing the sport angle, although it's not really a strong competitor for a dedicated sports-tracking device. If you're a runner, you'll probably find that something from the Garmin...

Motorola Moto 360 Sport review | One of the best smartwatches for fitness

You want the best smartwatch for fitness and the Moto 360 Sport might just be it with it's practical design, GPS and heart rate monitor. Here's our Motorola Moto 360 Sport review.

Available for under £200, the Motorola Moto 360 Sport is one of the best smartwatches for fitness. You get the some of the regular 360 style in a design which is practical for activities like running. The GPS tracking is accurate but it's shame the...
