Has served me well

 

if your trying to overclock go for a non-eco board

ive had this mother board for over a year with no issues. i like the green. it has pci express 3.0. the board is energy efficient and can be made even more efficient with eco center pro app

cant overclock cpu with this board

Good solid business class board

 

This board was not designed for gaming. There is a lack of good business boards out there. This one fits the bill perfectly. Don't buy this board if you want to overclock or do anything crazy. Just read the name of the board, "H81M Eco" ECO sounds...

Run Windows 8.1 like a champ. Runs Ubuntu like a champ. The price is reasonable for a board with all solid state capacitors and a 14 month stable supply. Great little workstation board.

As another reviewer said, the sata connector layout is a little strange. but if you've built systems before, you know that all boards have their quarks.

MSI Customer Service is POOR

 

I do not recommend this motherboard to novice computer builders. The customer service is one of the reasons and the other is some latest drivers are hard to look for.

The NIC is not from Realtek. Realtek NIC is OK, but Realtek NIC starts showing its disadvantages when using the computer for serving content. It is the reason why I selected this motherboard ; Fan trip points can be customized, but it works only with...
