The window kit was easy to install and came with a strip of self-adhesive foam for a tight fit in the window. They put in enough foam to do more than the job required. The unit cooled the room (spare bedroom and computer room) Down to a comfortable...

I really cannot find too much to whinge about the product. I did not find the motor too noisy but then I did not sleep in the room. It does have R22 refrigerant which may become a problem when it needs replacing.

Excellent

 

After purchasing and returning two others as they just could not do the job of cooling I was so pleased to get this one. The window conversion kit came with self sticking foam rubber strips which made the installation very easy. No other unit I have...

The unit I purchased was MPK1-12ER and I find it does a super job as cooling down my bedroom. It has a small tray to collect the excess water which is easy to use and is very accessible.

When the compressor comes on it is a little noisy but not any more than one expects from a window unit in a motel.
