Great when it works but you may want to scope out other options... Such as a product that lasts longer than 3 months...

Exceeded expectations

 

Frigidaire recommends a larger pint dehumidifier for basements but it works fine for my basement. The compressor is so quiet I thought it wasn't working, but the water draining out proves it is.

Runs extremely quiet and has an air filter. I'm using this in a basement that had a moderate mold smell - after 2 weeks the basement smells great and this dehumidifier doesn't run as much as I expected.

The fan is a little louder than I expected and there's an air filter that you have to remember to replace once in a while.

Not quite what I was expecting.

 

This thing really pulls the moisture out of the air in a hurry. I have a humidity gauge in the room, and every time I turn it on I can watch the levels drop every few minutes. I use it to keep humidity under control in my guitar room and it works...

The level control doesn't have numbers on it, so you have to guess and check as to what humidity level you're selecting it to maintain. Also, it heats up the room several degrees per hour, so in order to bring down the moisture levels I end up heating...

Emergency replacement

 

When my 5 year old Sears 35 pint dehumidifier died an untimely death I needed a replacement fast. Because this area had been receiving lots of rain, the local Sears has been selling out of dehumidifiers and had none in stock.
