Never worked from new and now its dead - just outside warranty!

 

Its a rubbish air conditioner. Never could handle the job - very poor cooling and heating. Had some repairs under warranty and some we just paid for our self. Now the warranty is over (just) apparently the compressor is gone and the repairer said...

Absolutely nothing except it looked nice.

It was expensive, poor performance, regular breakdowns, complete failure after warranty.

ITS A PIECE OF JUNK, NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THIS AIRCONS AGAIN, ITS A NIGHTMARE, NEVER ENDING STORY, REPAIRING IT FOREVER

The look

Everything else, its a piece of crap since it was new, ive had it for 1 year, and has been repaired at least 5 times, the heater didnt work, the glass panel wont close in off mode, the multiple crack sounds after the vent goes on/off, the heater works...

I have had 2 of these for 2 years now and found them to work quite well except for the one that keeps blowing the fuse. i have never complained to LG about it and after reading the comments about their customer service I don't think I will bother. Does...

Looks great

The Fuse keeps blowing sometimes twice a day have to keep replacing.

Terrible

 

When it goes it goes well, when it plays up, which is usually when you really need it, like 40 degrees C or 12 degrees C it gets annoying having to go outside and reset the fuse.

Looks Great

Noisy. Can't stand the heat, can't stand the cold. Needs a switch or fuse beside it so you don't have to go out the the fuse box when it decides to shut down. The only way the get it running again is remove/replace the fuse. Like a computer it goes...

Terrible

 

These things don't need a technician to repair, they need a priest. Stay away.

If they work, they are ok I guess.

I am an air con installer. I pray every time I install one that it works.

Have had unit for 1 year and have just now experienced my first problem which is yet to be diagnosed. I beleive it has a gas leak some where?? If so this is more of an installer problem.

Super cold

Noisey, limited features, heating can sometime take an enternity to kick in, manual doesn't explain the operation funst terribly well

Have had mine fixed 6 times in one year. LG's customer service is appalling, they say the warranty is for repair not replacement, in peak times it takes two weeks to get it repaired. I desperately wish I'd done more research before buying this useless...

where do u begin?the 1st 2 months i owned the brand new product and the plastic grill inside melted!they put a whole new front on.then,it rattles...big time.bn fixed and looked @ 2 times.now the front glass panal wont close when in off mode.the timer...
