Me lucks run out!

Took mostly nice pictures for me, while it worked. Stopped working after the 7th month of ownership. I was very careful with it, and only used it on maybe 10 or 12 occasions

It never got any rough handling, so there is no excuse for such early failure. I'm disgusted, and I'll not buy Olympus again

Poor Warranty

 

Lots of zoom

I first took this on vacation, and halfway through the LCD quit working, although it was not cracked on the exterior. I sent it for repair and Olympus said I had dropped it, although I had not and there was no damage at all to the body

Very low quality picture. have used so far 6 digital camera including one high-end dlsr, one high-end manual camera and this is the worst ever. even worse than my Nikon camera I bought in 2007. I left all of my cameras back at home and moved to TX, and...

no rebate

 

I use it as a portable camera, when I can't take my Canon EOS.

For such a cheap device the quality is very good

The major concern is "rebate". I sent all the required documents in July and still no rebate!!! (I have photocopies) ; Night shots are too grainy ; Battery drains quickly (but that`s not too bad) ; Pictures made from short distances get very distorted

Easy to use. Very Portable.No SLR super Zoom but what do you expect for under $100.00. Quality pictures. I have owned a Olympus 1010 and a Cannon SX210. I currently own a big bulky heavy Luminix FZ40. I may sell it and just keep my new Olympus7030. If...

Fuzzy pictures if fully zoomed and camera not held dead still.Not a deal breaker get out my mini tripod ; Also a long time from click till picture took. But that is true of most cheap compact and many bigger cameras
