The relatively affordable Sony EX640 offers deep-enough black levels for the money and commendable color saturation. The design is attractive and the menu system is easy to use.

We detected a couple of uniformity issues, black areas can look blue under lights, and shadow detail isn't up there with the better TVs. The wireless dongle takes up a USB port. The SEN portion of the Smart TV interface is so slow that it's kind of a...

Sony's EX640 series is one of the better deals from the company, with decent picture quality and features for the price.

None. The picture was good while it lasted (very short period). Pictured dies after only a few months of ownership and Sony does nothing to support I have the 60 inch model of this tv and 3 months after the warranty expired on this TV (only 15 months...

"Piece of junk"

 

TV screen goes off and will not come back on without unplugging it and restarting it. WiFi adapter will not work and Sony support has no answer to fix it. They can't even figure out how I can turn it in for service.

Nice picture and a good price

I love it when it works, but that is very rare. Sony support is worthless. DO NOT BUY THIS TV
