Roku TV delivers the simplest, most comprehensive smart-TV experience on the market. A superb user interface puts its thousands of apps and streaming video on the same plane as regular TV. It's also less expensive than just about any other smart TV.

Competing entry-level TVs, namely Vizio's E series, deliver better image quality for a similar price. Sparse picture controls and no Ethernet port.

Despite its "good enough" picture quality, the TCL Roku TV is one of our favorite entry-level sets, thanks to an awesome smart-TV suite and rock-bottom pricing.

They cut corners to get to this price. There are no external controls, you have to leave the app and go back to settings to change the volumes, and even at the loudest volume most dialog in movies what unintelligible. No amount of convenience can make...

TCL FAILS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE

 

I bought this TV and immediately had issues during the "Set-up Phase". I could not connect the TV to my wifi from the very beginning. I wish I had the time to explain the series of events that unfolded and the countless hours of "trouble-shooting"...

This TV is intended for streaming and not watching TV channels. There are no numbers on the remote. This means that if you are watching channel 2 and you want to change to channel 42, you have to click the up arrow forty times. If you then want to...
