The MSN Direct service isn't available in all areas, and names of gas stations weren't always provided. The c580's media player also only supports the MP3 format.

In addition to accurate driving directions, the high-end Garmin StreetPilot c580 provides a number of useful tools to the driver, such as real-time traffic data and local gas prices, thanks to the integration of MSN Direct services.

My head is spinning with all the new GPS products hitting the market. GPS systems have been very popular all over the world and now they're catching on in the U.S.A. Why? In other countries, (Asia, Europe) the way...

Excellent GPS, good screen - even in sunlight.

MSN Direct isn't available everywhere, and the music player only plays MP3 files.

A– Great touchscreen, good GPS. MSN Direct isn't available everywhere and not everyone will want to pay extra for that service.

Great GPS for the Price

 

Although not as large of screen, this is a very strong starter GPS. I could not find anything close for less than twice the price. Newegg is awesome as usual. As expected and delivered in two days.

Has the most features for the price - touch screen, speech, MSN direct, blue tooth, great reception. Lots of extras that you do not expect - blue tooth includes address book from phone, local gas prices, multiple voice choices, and on and on

MSN Direct Traffic still needs some improvement. The green/yellow/red is a separate screen from NAV and is not very broad. However, traffic alerts are a great addition. Small con for all the pros. Deeper and smaller screen than more expensive models

Unit come ready to operate out the box!!..The display graphics is very good. Voice announcment let you know when to turn is wonderful
