Excellent product BUT can anyone tell me if the cool tip can be removed in order to wash the "combs" which appear to be removable but I can't move the cool tip.

Just got this brush and I am so pleased with it. I have thick medium length hair, but brush flicks ends up lovely. Curl stays in for ages.
