I've had these for a few years, but am finally moving into surround sound with Logitech's Z5500s and a new sound card. These have worked fine for me for many years, but lack a few options and miss a few things that I want. I recently have started...

Play sound, very inexpensive, self-powered, small

no bass, not great for games ; other than that, I can't really complain because they're just your average pc speakers. They do the job just fine, but obviously can't compare to others out there

Good speakers

 

I am really impressed with NewEgg shipping. I got these in just two days, to south Texas, and even this close to Christmas.

Bought a LCD monitor for my Christmas present but the built in speakers weren't so hot, so - these speakers are excellent compared to them. Of course, I'm sure there are much better sounding ones (much more expensive) but these are more than adequate...

Sweet!

 

Blue LED is bright but it has nothing to do with the sound so it does not effect the rating. Put something over it if it bothers you.

These are really good speakers for the size and money. Good sound, heavy enough to stay put, look good. Great for a smaller system. DVD's sound great

Not bad for the price

 

The tone control allows you to tweak to fit your style easily and on the fly (a feature not offered often in this price range). Very good set of speakers, only thing I could ask for is more cowbe.. more bass, but that's to be expected with a 2.0.

Small/space efficent ; Tone control ; High Fi/No noticable distortion

Volume seems like a linear POT rather than logrithmic (in other words volume maxes out after about half the dial, and the second half seems to do nothing)

Wow - Impressive for so cheap

 

I have bought several sets of altec lansing speakers before. Always good sound and good quality.

Excellent sound for such small speakers. Played music in the Den and could hear it clearly without distortion 50 feet away. OK base. Not for the audiophile but I doubt they would pay this little

Great speakers

 

these are great speakers for the price, and i am very satisfied. perfect for playing games, listening to music, ect.

these have a very solid construction and sound great, almost like stereo speakers. they were cheap, and give you a great bang for your buck

great for itunes and a few games .. good little speakes fot the $$

cheep sound ok , headphone jack look good

just a little "tin-y" sounding.. no the best lows but there is no sub duh

Don't let the price fool you. These speakers are great.

Sleek and stylish, sound is good if you don't need lots of bass. No crackling of speakers. Clear sound. Works well with laptop, desktop, ipod, and dvd player

If there are any, I haven't found them
