Value for money speakers

Interesting design, powerful bass, bright highs, well-priced

Bass is boomy and overpowering, muffled mids, no headphone jack, speakers cannot be wall mounted, no wired or wireless remote controller, subwoofer is not protected

Test - Altec Lansing Octane

 

Altec Lansing presenterar här ett 2.1 högtalarsystem främst avsett att kopplas till datorn eller mp3spelaren. Fokus ligger på musikkonsumentens behov, men fungerar bra även till gamern. Dock får väl sägas att för spelare är hörlurar att föredra.

Good stuff

 

If you buy it and are going to put the sub on the ground make sure you dont have kids or animals that can get to it.

Good sound quality construction

speakers are not enclosed/protected but i saw the pictures so i got what i paid for ; the left speaker should plug into the right speaker and the right speaker into the subwoofer. but instead you have to run both speakers to the subwoofer. dont know...

Great Sounding 2.1 Setup

 

It would have been nice if the volume knob would "click" when you turn it up to indicate its on but its all smooth and no difference.

Love the speaker design, fits great on my desk without taking up too much space ; sub is pretty good without taking up much space

Good Quality

 

My previous speakers were AL's and I had them for nearly a decade before having to replace them. I was a bit disappointed and feel like I've taken a step back in terms of quality. I will be considering other brands the next time I purchase speakers.

Excellent for the price

 

Great Price, Simple setup (shouldn't be an issue for anyone), Great sound for the price and great for gaming

Package was mildly beat up (not sure if that was UPS's fault) but the speakers were somewhat 'loose' in the case. This was mildly concerning when I first opened the box but the set worked fine

its a good one, especially for gaming - if u play blackops, try to maximize the sound and the bass, create a class with a sniper as primary, hold shift to hold the breath. you'll feel like, youre the hitman tryna snipe someone :)

great bass, i can feel the walls outside my house trumbling ; it has aux ; treble adjust and bass adjust ; design is sexy
