great speakers

 

i didnt buy it at newegg, but got it for cheap at a local store. for your average user, they are a great buy.

creative labs brand, so you know its good. great sound quality, plays music really loud without any noticeable distortion

its only 2.1. also, when watching movies with the sound cranked up all the way, during silent parts i hear a slight static sound, not really noticeable though

Underwhelmed

 

Disappointed with product and am returning it.

Cheap, plus they come from a name brand company so they must be good right

Wrong. Speakers entirely underwhelmed me. Even for the price, I was expecting much more. The bass is muddy and drowns out the weak satellites. Also, the subwoofer emits a constant low but audible humming sound when it's just powered on. Pretty annoying

Great System for the Price

 

Like others have said, if you want more power for your sound, look for more expensive units. These are mainly for people who want great sound, but don't want to spend too much.

I got this from my local store for about $20. As cheap as the system is, you get the best bang for your buck. It is only 12 watts, so don't expect it to blow your pants off like a 200+ watt system would. Great for watching movies. Both speakers connect...

Inexpensive

 

I did not purhcase this from Newegg, but found it locally. I was looking for a cheap set of speakers for the kids' computer and that's what I have with this set. It does the job though. If you are not an audiophile and just looking for a simple 2.1...

very nice system for the money. clean sound and nice bass (unless you want to rattle the keyboard off your desk). plenty loud enough if you're by your desk

Cheap speakers

 

you get what you pay for. seemed like the best deal for the $, maybe it still is. will be contacting creative and/or newegg for RMA.

low price, decent subwoofer, small profile

left speaker worked for a little while, now very inconsistent performance (cord needs to be jiggled, unplugged, etc. to work)

Good sound for the price

 

I got these so we can actually hear the laptop. Those internal speakers weren't getting it done.

The sound quality is okay and the price is hard to beat

You won't rock the house with these but hey, if you want to blast yourself out go for more watts

Perfect Office Speakers

 

It would've been nice to have a seperate sub-woofer volume control, but what can you expect for the price. If I wanted something like that, I'd look to pay much more and since it's just for the office... not gonna do it.

Size of the speakers and sub-woofers make it the perfect speakers for desk at the office. The sound is just right so that you don't go blowing away your cube neighbor (or maybe not)

Logitec Speakers

 

when I say high volume i mean really high, so if you don't need these for the volume these are ur speakers

Great sound qualiry for 30 bucks, you can really crank it

A little bit of pop and crackle at very high volumes, no bass control, distorted bass at high levels
