I read the 18hz rating is a farce. I suspect it might be able to go that low for a quick dynamic burst; if not perhaps while playing a sine wave. Really, who listens to sine waves

Won't hit those really low notes

Man is this sub awesome. its defiantly gets down low and can overpower my speakers at hand ; Only reason I picked it up was due to the sale and the fact that its rated down to 13Hz ; Sounds amazing

Its heavy (but thats actually good lol), parents get annoyed a bit too easy

The supercube I sub is well controlled and digs really low, with good performance into the low 20 (Hz) range, where it's roll off begins and tonal quality is less noticeable. Because of this the lower frequency signals are felt more than they are...

Auto on not the most responsive, I would rather a dedicated switch

I dod not buy this from Newegg, but I do own one and I have to say it is deffinately a great sub. I paid more than the sale price on this and at this price it is a great bargain ; Buy one
