Update Review

 

Good sound for everyday computer use. I use it with MS Media Center with TV tuners in a bedroom. Very happy with sound for a low watt alternative during extended use

cheap, high quality, powerful for the size and price

LED is bright, smaller then I thought, and came with a small but noticeable dent on the front of the SUB you could tell it happened during shipping with a big hole in the box. But it is not at fault of the product so not docking it an egg

RMA Right Channel Dead

 

I will just about pay for shipping (both ways) that equal the cost of the speakers

The one channel that worked sounded good

Second bad set!

 

I went ahead and ordered a new set of these because the first set didn't work. This set arrived badly damaged with the volume knob completely broken off and having fallen down inside the subwoofer. The bass control was partially broken and is crooked....

They're here and they technically work. Sound OK for the price, like the looks and size

I went ahead and RMA'd these for replacement. Hoping the replacements work OK. I don't care if they're not the best...I have the best speakers where I need them. I just need something that fits and at least sound better than the built in speakers of...

Love the real wood, the look, and the fact that the subwoofer fit in the tiny space between two bookcases I have

Speakers didn't work. Nothing but humming from the subwoofer and no midrange

For the price these really are a nice set of budget speakers for PC and/or T.V. use. We may purchase more before they are dis-continued.

We own three sets of these speakers and I just thought ; I'd do a follow-up review on them ; We've had them for over a year of continuous use ; They still sound Great. No rattling or buzzing sounds ; They sound just as good now as when delivered ; We...

The power on LED is insanely bright ; A small piece of electrical tape corrects this ; anomaly in short order. ;)

These speakers look great, much better than average. The sound is good considering the price. I am very pleased with this purchase

Great Speakers

 

If you're looking to get the most "Bang for your Buck" then this set is the way to go. Newegg has impressed me yet again.

Great bass output. Comes with everything you need, including the audio adapter. Relatively long cables, I was able to run the speakers from under my desk to both sides on the top

No cons so far, and to be quite honest I don't expect any

Terrible construction and sound quality

 

I bought these to replace the Altec Lansing's I bought last year. While Altec Lansing's sound great, the 9-pin I/O plug on the subwoofer unit are prone to cutting out the right speaker.

Quality is shoddy. Upon arrival, the front panel was cracked below the volume knob. On further inspection, the front panel was flimsily glued to the subwoofer enclosure. It looks like there are supposed to be screws holding the panel in place, but they...
