Gear Head Powered 2.1 Studio Pro Speaker System

I bought these to replace my old 2.1 speakers when they went out on me. The subwoofer might as well be for looks. The sound quality is very poor. I would have been just as well off buying a pair of 2.0 speakers. Only worth the money as a set of backup...

IT IS NOT THE GREATEST PERFORMANCE AND SOUND QUALITY. BUT DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY. IT IS MUCH BETTER SPEAKER FOR THE SIMILAR SPEAKER YOU PAY FOR THE SAME $$$

The sound is awful, empty, no atmosphere, poor resonance. My first idea was logitech, the first idea is often the best ... I did not know this brand (Gear Head) I wanted to save ... I used an hour, it is in its box since.

I purchased a new HP computer and Hanns-G monitor and I wanted a good amplified audio system to go along with them. I spent the EXTRA money for this Gear Head 'PRO-SPEAKER' product, because I've used Gear Head in the past and liked their products....

I got this for $20 on sale. I could've went to Goodwill and gotten some for $5 and they would've sounded better! There is NO strength at all from the woofer, all you hear are the two tweeters... and it doesn't sound good! Bottom line: spring for some...

The woofer isn't too bad but high freqs on tweeters is TERRIBLE! You can get a better sounding 2 speaker system for the money.

Looks superior, best $ value on the market, sounds OK. Trebel is a bit over balanced and distorted at high volumes Bass is weak under-balanced at all volumes. Don't even look for or consider anything better for newbies to upgrade the squeakers that...
