iLuv i199 Stereo System for iPod

 

Decent audio quality. CD player (for data CDs, too). USB player. Alarm clock works with iPod. Internal memory stores 32 tracks.

Controls are not intuitive. Covered in stickers. Remote is lousy.

Simply put, the iLuv tries to do too much and fails. It's not that this iPod speaker dock sounds awful or doesn't work. What really ails the iLuv is that it can be a royal pain to operate. It may be feature-loaded, but there are several simpler, better...

Fantastic bargain and wish I had bought 2!

 

Bought this as a result of Wave105 deal of the day at 54.99 for my daughter for Christmas. So wish I had bought one for ourselves! Fabulous quality and spec for the money..a dream to listen to. Waiting for the price to drop again..

i luv 199 sound system

 

Got this for a x mas present. The sound is excellent. This is a great system with all the trimmings with it althou i have not tried the bluetooth. I have just ordered another for a friend for another x mas present and once again play.com come first...

smart set of speakers!

 

I have purchased these speakers and as an ipod dock etc they are excellen. My only query is if the bluetooth can be used to sync to a bluetooth capable netbook? if so, i would be tempted to buy a new netbook...
