The blue LED is a little too bright, but that can easily be fixed with some black tape if you need to dim the brightness. <Its not an issue for me as they are in a spare room and I just unplug them if someone stays over ; There is no power or volume...

The speakers do what they are rated to do - although, if you read the specifications carefully, and you understand how much your are paying for them, then you will understand why they are no better than laptop speakers ; They get the job done...

Sound good when they work

These don't work most of the time. They will work for a few minutes, then no sound at all inexplicably. Tried different USB ports with same result. I recommend getting speakers that are not USB

USB interface so you don't have to have a great sound card. For $20 it was a great deal

Lack of an amp means you WILL notice a difference between this and more expensive speakers. If you're like me and can adjust to speakers to where you don't notice the flaws as much, it's not a big deal ; They're a little smaller than I expected, but...
