If you live where the weather can get extreme, check out these Polks, built to military specs to survive a savage beating from the elements....

Rustproof stainless steel, brass hardware and gold binding posts spell post-apocalyptic durability. Easy-adjusting brackets rotate 90 degrees, making them a no-brainer install

Polk is no ace with bass — there’s just not much boom here. Black and white are the only color choices? Come on, Polk. The sound is not our only obsession

Died after 3 days

 

Even though I have not had these very long, I can already tell that I like them. Seriously thinking about replacing speakers at my pool with another set of these.

Awesome sounds for my deck. Tight bass and perfect balance for my receiver. Bought these to replace older/cheaper speakers on my deck. Music has taken on new listening pleasure. Easily installed under eaves with existing wiring

A great set of speakers

 

They're loud, so if you mount them to your house, expect to "hear" the sound reverberate back through the walls. I placed some foam rubber between the bracket and the house, as well as a foam washer on the screws, and this really helped considerably.

Good speakers

 

I would definately recommend these speakers. For the price i paid i could not have found better speakers.

I am running these speakers on an onkyo tx-608 7.2 receiver using zone two. I have only had the speakers for a few days so all I can say right now is that my initial impression is good. I had several people over this past weekend comment that the...

Removing the grills. I thought I would paint the speakers to match the house but I struggled to get the grills off. The instructions say to use a paperclip. I tried and after a few minutes decided they can stay white

Excellent Speakers

 

Got these to replace some aging Cambridge Soundworks speakers - no regrets.

Great bass for an outdoor speaker; excellent overall sound; cheap. I like the mounting brackets that come with it - worked well mounted on my deck posts. Easy to swivel to where I want the sound

These sound amazing.

 

Well worth the price and the sound coming from them is truly breathtaking. They rival home towers in sound quality! Don't hesitate just get 'em.

Purchased 2 pair of these for an indoor restaraunt settting. Amazing bass response for their size, not enough for clublike sound but extremely smooth response for med loud setting. My amp puts out 150 watts per channel and drives these really well at...

None really. They are somewhat heavy, around 7 pounds so make sure they are mounted securely
