Can't please everyone, but OK for me

 

I wonder if some of the folks who don't find it "loud" enough haven't set up their systems properly--these home theater set-ups take a lot of tweaking and the room itself has a big impact. And remember that 1200 watts driving frequencies below 100 Hz...

Compact size, decent finish, ample power for my application, good price, matches well with Polk CS series loudspeakers

Clumsy volume control--why not just put a knob on it? Wouldn't mind a version with cherry finish

Musical

 

Using this as part of an all-Polk 5.1 system with VM30s in front, VM20 in the center, and VM10s in the rear. Room is not huge, and these speakers fill it seamlessly.

Bass is extremely tight, clean and musical. It goes fairly deep without making a big boomy show of it

The remote control is tiny and easy to lose. I am still looking for mine. It was not all that easy to use when I did know where it was. Fortunately, a remote is not exactly essential for a subwoofer

Tight bass, good for right application

 

I always wanted a Sunfire Jr. for it's compact design and tight accurate bass. I think I got 80% of the performance at about 1/2 the price.

I added this to my home theater 7.1 setup as the rear subwoofer. My front is a M&K 12" sub that gives me the power for the big explosions etc. I really like this compact sub, it takes up little space but delivers an nice tight bass sound for music and...

The volume method is too high tech. You use the remote or the buttons on the back and then count the front led flashing code to give you the setting. (2 long then 5 short flashes = 25 volume). Max is 40
