These are great spearers when paired with a good subwoofer-which I just happen to have. I think they would sound even better if I had a newer receiver instead of the 4.1, 15-year-old one that I have. Here is a quick list of pros and cons ; PROS ; 1....

1. Highs are a bit harsh, but not to bad. (Again, I think this is because I have an older receiver.) ; 2. Speaker connections are a bit of a pain to access. (This ins't a big deal since you shouldn't have to access them very often.)

Great speakers. The highs are crisp and the bass is excellent. These speakers will serve anyone well for a true home theatre experience
