Backgound hiss/noise fix

 

Rosewill should have tested these speakers on a computer.

Good sound

If plugged into computer USB for power, terrible/annoying hiss/screatch sound is produced. Easy solution is to use a 110VAC to 5VDC USB adapter. These can be obtained a very low cost

Work Great, Sound very Good

 

I really love these speakers because the sound quality is very good, outstanding compared to other cheap speakers, And the wooden cabinet and heavy duty construction reminds me of stuff made in America in the 50's, Volume range is great too, Max Volume...

Low Price Very, Solid Construction, Loud Enough when needed. cables slightly longer than normal allowing flexibility of use. These are awesome speakers for the price I got them with free shipping, wish I would have ordered 2 pair, sound quality is good...

Only Con I had was the Volume adjustment knob was very tight on my pair, I had to do a quick mod with the dremel tool drilled and added a second protruding knob then I greased the rotating case flush part with Vaseline and it worked fine MINUS one Egg...

4 for these is a steal!

 

They actually had decent bass for USB speakers, they look nice

There is a buzzing when they are plugged in...it doesn't seem to go away...ever

Very upset

 

Very disappointed, money wasted...

Pretty looking paper-weight... Can't believe I paid money for these

These speakers wouldn't pass a Quality Check. Apparently there's none... One speaker is much louder than the other... And they both produce an annoying noise

keep looking there are some good speakers on newegg that are inexpensive. My old cheap logitechs have been working fine for five or six years and I use them on two puters

I may have just gotten a bad set but these things are thowaways. They crackle and pop kina like rice crispys, they are very quiet. And now they are in a drawer. Sometimes cheap is not neccesarily good

Just like everyone else is saying.

 

I actually pulled them out of the box, ensured they worked, and gave them away. I had no use for these at all.

The emit the desired sound waves my computer hardware tells them too. Ohh and they were free

Why would anyone look for reviews on a product that's free

these speakers have an extreme amount of hiss and fuzz coming out of em even when your playing music as loud as they can go. I am very glad i got them for free

Update To Previous Review

 

It's like the white paper I read about laptop buyers. They buy a cheap laptop and somehow expect it to turn into a high end laptop by the time they get home. Cheap sounds cheap and expensive sounds expensive but they do work and don't sound bad.

Again, I got them free with a keyboard purchase. People, what do you expect for 9.99 or free? You ain't gonna get 100 dollar sound from 10 dollar speakers! They work, they don't sound bad and the set I received work ok with no static or popping sounds...

They don't sound like 100 dollar speakers but hey
