Looked Good!

 

NewEgg could have shipped a replacement product right away like some of the other online vendors. Instead I have to wait 5-7 days. Decided to upgrade to Klipsch. Glad I changed my mind on the yamaha.

Great speakers

 

I am glad I bought them.

Work well. They produce nice sound. Easy to install

I took off one egg because the grill on one of the speakers started to come off (they are glued). No big deal, I just popped it back in but that shouldn't be happening

Great Speakers

 

Sound Great. Make sure you have speakers that can cover low frequency. These are 55hz. Any lower and your neighbors will complain

If I could do it again, I'd try another brand/model

Not that expensive

Way too big for the sound quality. Bass is non-existent given the huge size. Rear clip broke too easily when a mover squished it into a wall

Great Value

 

Yes you can get better speakers by paying 3X more, but if I want to listen to audiophile or studio quality sound I'll go in the house. These do a great job for the money of providing good sound in an enviornment where people are talking and steaks are...

Great

 

A year later and i wish i would've bought the black ones as the white plastic has sunfaded very badly. They are nasty yellow now.

Great sound quality. They sound better than any Bose outdoor speakers i've heard, and cost a fraction of what Bose charges.

Not quite as much bass as i would like (although good for a 6.5" woofer), so i bought the TIC omni 3 speakers (8" woofer) to compliment these. Now i have bass and great sound quality.

Nice Speakers

 

I bought these at my local "Worst Purchase" store because they had them on clearance (that's the ONLY reason I didn't go with Newegg). It is not listed in the spec's but they come with 2 screws for mega mounting plates, 2 safety chains and 2 L-brackets...

Good clarity, descent bass, loud enough for an average back yard, built sturdy and 5 way binding posts and the mounting hardware well made and easy to use.

The bass is not as good as a set up with a sub but with tuning they sound pretty good.
