Sennheiser Momentum Wireless review

Sennheiser provides both a soft and hard case for travel purposes, although if you're packing them for a plane trip they will take up a large amount of your carry on space this way. They're good for up to 22 hours of playback with a three hour charge...

Superb sound ; Very comfortable for long term wear

Expensive ; Noise cancellation could be better -- and can't be switched off ; Multi-tap skipping is tricky to get right

and many others. The Momentum Wireless deserves its place amongst them as a top-notch set of wireless cans, but the buying decision will be tough.

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless review

Sennheiser did a lot of things right on the third-generation Momentum Wireless. The company's warm and clear sound is still a delight, and the headphones remain comfortable even after hours of use. However, battery life is about half of what Sony and...

Great audio ; Very comfortable ; Reliable on-board controls ; Great range

Woeful battery life versus the competition ; Noise cancellation disappoints in some environments ; Sensitive motion sensors

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless (2019) review

The noise-canceling Sennheiser Momentum Wireless (2019) now come with built-in Tile tracking so you need never lose them again.

Brilliant audio quality Cool design Customizable settings

Battery life isn’t great More expensive than rivals

There’s a lot to love about the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless (2019); they sound fantastic, look good, and are easily customizable thanks to an app. However, they’re let down by a measly 17-hour battery life and their high price.

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless review

Incredible audio fidelity backed by a serious price

Comfy, rugged build ; Best-in-class sound ; Everlasting battery life

Finicky multi-function button ; Terribly pricey

These no-holds-barred wireless headphones are oozing with positive qualities, but, at $500, they're almost prohibitively expensive. If you're an audio lover that can spare the expense, do not hesitate on this comfortable, hard-working set of headphones...

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless: Premium wireless sound for a premium price

If you can afford the Momentum Wireless' $500 price tag, you're getting a great-sounding and comfortable Bluetooth headphone with premium build quality.

The Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless is a well-designed, sturdy headphone, that folds up for more compact storage and features excellent sound over Bluetooth, as well as over a wired connection. The headphone is also equipped with active...

Expensive; like the Beats Studio Wireless, you can't turn noise-cancellation off (it's always on when you use Bluetooth).

While it may be a bit overpriced, the Momentum 2.0 Wireless is an excellent and well-designed Bluetooth headphone with active noise-cancellation that also offers strong wired performance.

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless Black

(Confusingly, the new wired models are called the Momentum 2.0, while the wireless models seem to use the "2.0" label at some retailers, but not at others.)

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless

The Sennheiser Momentum Wireless is a pair of Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation and a sculpted, bass-forward sound signature.

Powerful audio performance with intense bass response and sculpted high-mids and highs. Active noise cancellation in addition to Bluetooth audio. Can be used passively in wired mode.

Very expensive. Noise cancellation is good, but not great.

The Momentum Wireless's sound signature feels like a bit of a departure for Sennheiser, a company that has never shied away from bass response, but has delivered it in natural, balanced doses. The Samsung Level Over also offers so-so noise cancellation...

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless review: Noise-cancelling in a stylish package

Sennheiser has launched a new pair of wireless ANC over-ear headphones. Read our review to find out where they succeed and where they don't.

Stylish looks and comfortable fit ; Battery life lives up to 17-hour promises ; Unfold and fold to switch on and off ; Varying degrees of noise-cancelling/audio transparency

Auto-pause function is too sensitive ; Battery still not quite as epic as competitors ; Bass is a little boomy ; Not the cheapest noise-cancelling cans

Packed with smarts and high-end features, these great-looking over-ear cans are made from high-end materials and are worth considering based on the design alone. The sound is great, too, although the boomy bass won't be to everyone's tastes and the...

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless review

A top-notch set of wireless headphones with excellent sound.

Superb sound ; Very comfortable for long term wear

Expensive ; Noise cancellation could be better -- and can't be switched off ; Multi-tap skipping is tricky to get right

The asking price for the Momentum Wireless is likely to be the sticking point for many buyers. At $799, you're paying top whack for a pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones, and that means that they're competing with headphones from the likes of...
