I only drink espresso (never American coffee) and have tried many machines over the years. This was the worst - an overdesigned behemoth.

I read the directions carefully but it did not work out of the box, sputtered and made lots of noise. Returned it

Great Expresso

 

I got this for my office and have been a very happy camper ever since. This machine does what it needs to do, it is a great expresso maker for the novice barista. Get a good grinder and you will start to enjoy a fantastic cup of expresso in no time.

Price! For a buck 50 this little machine delivers the goods. It produces GREAT expresso with a thick rich crema that rivals my Rancilio. Easy to use, great coffee, awesome price. Enough said

Good machine

 

Ok if you want to get technical, making an espresso shot should take around 30 sec. but this machine only takes 18, I haven't noticed a difference in taste (compared to starbucks). It does come with a plastic press instead of a sturdy metal one, but...

As far as making espresso it does what its suppose to do. Very sturdy. Nice removable tip for the wand makes cleaning up easier. Easy to empty drain and tank. I also like the pre-measured inserts to help with getting the right amount

Sprays sometimes. Loud. Warming tray takes a long time to warm up. Sometimes if the tank isn't pressed down good enough it will burn the beans (the users fault)

Not a bad machine, easy to use but the frother is awful

 

Got this machine as a gift to add to my collection (I own 3 other machines- Gaggia, Delonghi & a Nespresso). I seriously enjoy drinking coffee; this machine however is a little odd. Looks-wise, it's a cute, compact machine with stainless steel accents....

ours just died after 5 great years- the milk steam/frother was no good but we didn't care (we just microwave the milk first). The coffee that it makes was better than most we buy!!! Our visitors always say how great our coffee is. am thinking about...

I totally agree with the majority of the reviews. I bought it because of the Krups name, but very disappointed. It is completely unreliable and should not be allowed to be sold. The machine also came with a "free" coffee grinder. It was no wonder they...

Do NOT buy any of these Krups models. They are dangerous.Dangerous Machine! Beware!!Pros:Automatic tamper and nice look to it.Cons:Steamer nozzle broke and blew off on 2 different models.

Great while it lasted and disapointed when it broke down. Also, disapointed to fingd out it was Chinese and not German.

Makes very good coffee.

Has worked perfectlty for 5 years but recently started to spray water out of the brewing head. I thought it must be the seal and so ordered one. No change - water everywhere. Will have to buy a new one. Having read other reviews, and now realising it...
