The faux stainless steel look is a definite upgrade in the kitchen. However, the quality/durability of the exterior is not what I'd expect from Whirlpool.

No issues here. I bought it for a studio and it arrived in perfect condition. It looks really nice as compared to your standard home-depot type fridge. The studio really looks nice with this fridge installed.
