New building specs invalidates this design :(

The specs that come with the bosh hob and extractor say that the hood needs to be >650mm high from the hob. New building regulations say that is got to be > 790mm. When you put it in at 790 then the lights are well above your eye line and because...

OKAY...

After installing the product and had it running for about 6weeks now, it feels like it is not powerfull enough. It is good at extracting steam but when you cook with oil like stir fires for instance it doesn't "feel" it is taking the grease away...
