The Philips HR2162/91 blender says it will make tough blending easy. It's lightweight and inexpensive for a large jug blender, so find out if it is robust enough to cope with the tough tests we put it through at the lab.

3 times I have spilled contents as the base has remained on blender while removing jug. There should be a safety catch or similar which does not allow this to happen. Also vey inefficient breakding down frozen fruit.

This blender looks and works exactly as it is supposed to it is definitely worth the money and I haven't had a problem with it yet.

You do need to chop raw veg quite small but all round very good

blender is sleek but stops after a short while.I will go change it for another one as I get dissapointed with the start and stop way the blender works

It is easier for me to blend all my ingredients and the storage space is wonderful.
