Bought this recorder for everyday use and was operating it like a pro in about 30 min. to an hour of reading the instructions. It has many features not found on simular players in the same price range. Overall just a fantastic digital audio recorder....

Perfect recordings from something that fits in the palm of your hand

 

I recently purchased the Olympus VN3100 Digital Voice Recorder from my local Target. It is a compact, easy to use recorder that provides excellent recordings. Read below for more specific details!

Disappointed almost immediately.

 

I just purchased this device today, and I'm disappointed that the USB is disabled so that it will not work unless you install and use their special software on a Windows PC. It's designed to not take advantage of the simplicity of USB.

It's very lightweight, relatively inexpensive

Only works with MS Windows; doesn't come with wrist strap

Great quality, DOES work with Vista

 

This product does work with Vista; I didn't have any problems installing it, and you don't need to be particularly savvy to get it to work.
