This lense has an amazing picture, although it doesn't quite get 180 degrees field of view as advertised, it is like 175 degrees. The distortions are perfect, a very well made piece of glass. Well worth the price

This was my fault for not knowing I guess, but if you have a small censor camera and want that great fisheye effect, you won't get it with this.

This is a fish eye lens, not just a wide angle. So you should expect some distortion.

Great for capturing large landscapes, huge groups of people or adding the fish eye effect to normal photos

Only four available aperture settings

A Fine Lens Indeed

 

An outstanding lens. I use this lens on a 1.3x crop body (19.5mm FOV) and use Adobe PS CS2 to correct distortion, hence giving me a true 16mm wide FOV. Simply Awesome.

Ignorant is as ignorant does.

 

It's ignorant to give this lens a low rating because of its 1.6x crop factor with a DSLR. On a digicam it shows 24mm, still a legitimate wide angle. Either way--DSLR or SLR--it shoots sharp, is color accurate, built well, and priced right

Not good for Canon Digital Rebel or 20D

 

For a better fisheye for your Canon 20D, try an 8mm fisheye.

Nice quality lens, good quality glass

Does not provide a very wide angle when used on a digital camera with a 1.6x crop. (Canon Digital Rebel and Canon 20D) ; Fisheye effect is minimal on these cameras
