The lens was extremely well packaged and came with lens hood and bag. It is light weight and compact in size, the image quality is superb. Can be used as a good portrait lens as well as macro.

The lens has more flexibility than I imagined. I have taken landscape , medium distance portrait and macro shots all with great quality.

No real bad points. The auto focus seems a bit noisey, but it's the first one I have had so it may be perfectly normal.

I mainly photograph insects, flowers and fungi in the field. This lens gives me a bit more distance from the camera to the subject and since the front lens doesn't zoom in and out I am getting a much higher success rate with fewer pictures of abandoned...

Overall none. Image stabilisation would be an improvement but isn't an option with this lens and would come at a premium anyway. I can't comment on it's use for portraits as I don't take them but would imagine you could do better as this lens seems...

Great for close ups of flowers

Great lens bought with Canon hood and a Hoya UV filter. Easy to use and is intended for my wifes' EOSM but maybe not!!

Great shots straight out of the box. Light and easy to use, straightforward controls.

Really need to use with a tripod for very close up work.
