dobra jakość wykonania,, bardzo przyzwoite parametry optyczne w aparatach z matrycą APS-C,, szybki i bezszelestny napęd AF,, bardzo dobrze korygowane wady optyczne,, skuteczny system stabilizacji obrazu.

nienajlepsza jakość obrazu przy silnie otwartej przysłonie (zwłaszcza na zdjęciach z korpusów małoobrazkowych),, niezbyt użyteczny przy w pełni otwartej przysłonie,, silne winietowanie do f/2.8 włącznie,, wysoka cena.

Oceniając ten produkt zmuszony jestem jako tester zmierzyć się z mocno mieszanymi uczuciami. Z jednej strony Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM to naprawdę dobrze wykonane szkło i nie tyle godny następca modelu EF 35mm f/2, co jego porządne uzupełnienie....
