Very good on D7000, excellent on d300S. I have the newest AE version. Meters correctly

Colour rendition, flare resistance, fisheye distortion is always fun, AE version gets correct exposure and you can forget the aperture ring entirely

Not so sharp on 16mpx D7000. Very sharp on 12mpx D300S

None...ok, maybe an AF version it would be nice, but that means higher price. Anyway, i like the retro feeling of the manual operation, and for this kind of lens, AF is not so important after all
