Premium build, Solid, Great looking, Relatively small, AF fast & accurate.

Distortion at wide open.

Prime-level image quality. Really! Lighter than expected - balances well. Fast AF and MF pretty nice feel too. Got 10% off RRP at the Sony event. Could be 10 for IQ - until you try Otus :)

Price - but it's probably worth it really Distortions rely on s/w correction (not my favourite solution) but fixes up just fine in Capture One for Sony.

Fast focus, very sharp even wide open at f2.8, professional grade, premium quality.

Slightly slower autofocus in low light on Sony A7II body.

Good solid build, the zoom ring feels just right when zooming in and out. The image quality is really good, i'm not sure if it is as good as my Canon 24-70L ll due to me not doing any real comparisons yet. I think it is worth the money, and it fits...

Sony should be able to put this lens out in a 2.8 aperture. I can't understand why they've not done it yet.

The SEL2470Z is full frame 35mm and fits my new Sony A7r11 perfectly without an adaptor. It has a good solid build without being overly heavy and balances well on the A7r11. They are made for each other. the black matches the black. the lens 'oozes...

I got this for the A7s, as it's a good overall workhorse.

Of course I wish the FStop went lower than a F4. and the zoom was a bit longer.
