The Tokina AT-X M35 Pro DX is a very good macro lens, that also works well as a normal prime for those who don't need very large apertures. The lens delivers very good to excellent sharpness straight from its maximum aperture.

Perfect build quality, outstanding brightness, sharpness and color rendition

Focus Clutch too stiff. No matter how much sense there is to shoot macro at 35mm (from 2 cm), macro works good

This lens works best for near macro, as the focus distance at 1:1 is nearly touching the barrel! Because of the "normal" angle of view, I can do about 85% of my shooting with this lens.

Super Sharp. Little to no CA or distortion. High build quality. Very unique macro perspective

Infinity Focus at 5 feet. Focus Clutch takes a little getting used to. Focus can be slow if in "Full" mode--still very much acceptable
