great sound for zero cost

 

The ever generous egg threw this in with something else I ordered...yes, for free. So my very low expectations were exceeded. You know when you're traveling and watching a movie on your laptop and you can't hear or it sounds flat? Plug this baby in....

If you carry it boombox style on your shoulder, people will laugh. But then they will hear that rumbly bass from nowhere and start wearing their pants so low their boxers hang out, following you around

Price, quality, light weight, size

Won't be the loudest speakers you'll ever own, but the volume is still quite good

Great, Finally, small and powerfull

 

Really nice speakers. Not bad sound for the money and wattage. The best part is not having a bunch of wires. I'm going to order a couple more. Windows 7 found drive right away

Can't recall ever giving a five star. Bought Oct.2010 and under daily use since April.2011. Very pleased. Intended for travel but so impressed that it now services the office desk too, replacing cable-intensive 2.1 floor sub, amp-in-satellites rig....

surprising sound for a 5V device ; case takes abuse. zero protrusions or controls to break (see thoughts) ; low cost ; sits nicely on the front edge of the monitor base or on desk btwn base and keyboard. No wires sprawling around ; horn design throws...

Surprised how good this sounds

 

These work great connected to my Toshiba Thrive tablet which has awful speakers. I put 3 AA in it, plug the audio cable in and it works great for listening to Internet radio, movies and music

The sound these produce is surprisingly good ; You can put 3 AA batteries in it so you don't need to use USB power ; Nice looking and lightweight

Would be nice if it had rechargeable battery but that would add weight and cost
