As a previous reviewer mentioned, there was some stickiness on these refurbished mice. However, I was generally satisfied with their quality in other respects. I am using them with elementary school children and they are holding up pretty well.

sticky mouse material

 

The sticky-ness only bothered me for a few minutes as my palm doesn't touch that part of the mouse when in use anyway. I'll keep the thing in my laptop bag for emergencies since it wasn't that much $$.

Save your money. This is a know design flaw; after time the wires in the cord will fail and the mouse will quit working. I don't think any auto retracting mouse will last. I work with electronic equipment and I thought this auto retracting cable...

The wires inside the cable broke. I unfortunately didn't buy this from newegg. I bought this over seas and it lasted for nothing. I am horribly disappointed

As others have mentioned, the default tracking speed makes the pointer jump around your screen quicker than your standard-sized desktop mouse does. However, this is 100% fixable by dialing down the tracking speed in the control panel

Not Very Mac Friendly

 

If you don't have a Mac, this is a decent mouse, IMO.
