Brother MFC-9440CN

Consistently fast task speeds; great print/scan quality; expandable paper handling and memory; onboard PictBridge port; ADF; network-ready; Brother ControlCenter is flexible and customizable; security feature is great for a multiuser environment.

No junk fax blocker; no auto duplexer; walk-up scanning options are a bit limited; color printing could use a tiny bit of improvement.

Our quibbles with the Brother MFC-9440CN pale in comparison to the many things we like about it, chiefly its sublime combination of fast speeds with high-quality output. It's currently our favorite recommendation for a small office environment.

The Brother MFC-9440CN is an excellent color laser multifunction printer for small offices and work groups. Its fast speeds, great print/scan quality, and large feature set are commendable. It's not without its shortcomings, but they are minor....

I will not and I will not go near any brother machine. Don't buy it. you will disappoint it.

Ok Printer works. when you say print it prints

This printer company and their printers are ridiculous. you are changing cartridge also you have to change drum unit,fuse unit and belt unit, you have to change laser unit, pf kit mp and pf kit 1. so you keep changing the parts of the unit. guess what...

Excellent Product

 

I have been operating this machine in a network environment for several years now. I do a considerable amount of scanning and mostly B&W printing. The color is reserved for my grandchildrens projects. I am very pleased with the performance of the...

My only gripe is the cost of the replacement toner. I can almost purchase a new printer for the cost of the toner

Solid Multi-Function Machine

 

I think there was a reviewer that stated there were no OEM toners available. Actually, there are OEM toners you can buy that will save you $20 or more each in color and black. You just have to do a search on the web.

This is a solid workhorse machine. Prints quickly in both black and color. Our office plans on getting another machine as a backup to the one we currently use. The original vendor we got the machine from no longer carries it but luckily we found it...

Replacement parts: drum, belt unit, fuser unit are expensive! It is not as bad as some other brands however
