The Dell 1610HD is a good choice for the presenter that needs high brightness on a budget.  Few of the multimedia projectors we have reviewed put out 3500 lumens or more and nearly all of them cost substantially more than the Dell 1610HD or are nowhere...

Very bright bulb - 3500 Lumens allows decent viewing on a large sceen (100" diagonal) even in room with some daylight coming in. Everything has worked well so far

HDMI port too close to body housing, had to shave off slightly the end of the HDMI cable housing in order to fully insert it into the machine, otherwise did not register connection. A second HDMI port would be useful too.

Bright picture, good colors, quiet fan, sharp image. EASY to set up.

Says its 3D ready but NOT HDMI, only VGA so you need a computer to use the 3D part. Very disappointed but can't fix it now. Want to buy some 3D glasses? :)

This is the 3rd projector that we have bought for our church. This is the brightest one yet. We are able to view without closing the window blinds. I would buy another one of these without hesitation. Everything has worked well without any problems.

No cons at this time.
