It works like it should

 

One small issue was that when it arrived from UPS, there was a gash in the box that bypassed the styrofoam and dented the tower. The insides were fine, so it just wobbles a bit in place, nothing a folded up bit of paper didn't solve. BUT, someone...

It's for my mom, who is not a gamer or developer, so it's perfect for her. Runs Microsoft Office and web browsers just fine. And it's ASUS so that's a pro

It's obviously not powerful or fast, but in this case it doesn't need to be

Do Not Buy

 

I've spent a lot of money at Newegg and recommended them over other sites, but if I'm out $500 and can't get anything but attitude from Newegg customer service and denials from ANTonline this will be my last purchase from Newegg.

None

Got a bad unit. Got an RMA. Returned it. Got it back with the same problem and a note saying it was fine ; Newegg customer service was NO help at all

Just what I needed!

 

Great system at a great price! Has all the features that I need and more. I am not a fan of windows 8; On a pc , it blows!. Getting a good system with windows 7 is great. This ASUS is fast for what I need email, browse web, streaming, ect... Start up...

Asus computer

 

This computer work OK for the price

Computer works OK and is reasonably fast and quiet, except for the boot up

The key board keys are very dark. Very hard to see if you need to se them like me. It is the worst keyboard I have ever seen ; The speaker make a static sounds on the boot up ; I put new pads on the bottom because 2 were missing

Excellent performance

 

There are cheaper models available but you get what you pay for. ASUS gear normally lasts long. I was surprised to see ps/2 connectors on a modern computer.

Extremely fast compared to the older machine it replaced. It is being used in a small office with multiple programs running at the same time, 8 GB of RAM allows smooth multitasking

Costs more than other computers

Worth the money

 

The system is a 64 bit Windows 7 that you could make into a Windows 8 but would require a different set of drivers. I Like the Windows & system and am pleased with the way the computer runs on 7 ; The system has ps-2 ports for the older items & ps-3...

Does not come with recovery disk but with the help of ASUS I was able to make one. The setup offered to create one but I couldn't get it to work. Hope this helps. All-in-all I am very pleased with this computer even with a lot of differences with...
