Initially very happy with the vac operation however in less than 2 years the battery wouldn't recharge much which meant only a minute or so of poor suction. Thought I had finally found a great dustbuster (I bought 2, 1 as a gift) but now disappointed....

commend getting the 18v model for the extra power. Battery time is good, we just keep it charged regularly and it's ready to go. All in all, it's a serious winner. Not cheap, but definitely good value.
