Need to load software for media controls to work (XP)

 

Keys have strong tactile feedback which I like because I type hard. Other people may find this annoying ; Mouse has a neutral shape and could be right or left handed

The keyboard is very light and wants to move around while I type. I needed to wedge it against the monitor stand to keep it from wandering around ; I am allergic to some plastics and it appears this keyboard is made from them so it will be going back...

Included drivers for multimedia keys do not work with Vista. Not a con, since you can download Vista drivers on manufacturer's website. Keys are relatively flat, but not as flat as notebook keys.

Standard key layout. All keys functional as intended

Keys are a little mushy, don't feel as crisp when hit

Substantial Keyboard

 

The colors are simple and sure it doesn't have that very stylish design that gamers might want but it is made for practicality and utility instead of show.

Being a KeyTronic keyboard, this is built like a tank. Very well made and has a nice substantial feel to it. The keys respond well and are placed very comfortably for wider hands. I've been a user of KeyTronic keyboards since the 80s and they still...
