Battery problem

 

small and compact. Connects with USB plug.

Battery went out after about a year. Try to charge it over USB and it will not hold the charge. Also, the USB plug is a flip out one on the top edge and if the flip is not sitting on something that will put it at the right height with the port, the USB...

Nice, but NOT true HD

 

ts a nice camcorder but way too expensive for what you get.

It is a very nice camcorder. Very easy to use, 720p.

No removable storage, limited to 2 hours with 8GB of internal memory. Not true HD when a zi8 is true 1080p HD and 720p @ 60FPS for about $110. Not very configurable. Only 2x Digital Zoom! Pathetic! It's only software and they could easily increase...

Worth the purchase. Take time to charge before initial use. Seach newegg for: male female usb cable

Compact, solid, easy to use. Wife likes it.

Pick up a male-female USB cable protect the FLIP when connecting it to a PC. As most reviews have surely stated, the USB interface on this device does not EASILY connect to most USB ports. Minus 1 egg for this fault.

good for small screeen only

 

I returned this mainly because the picture quality was sub par when connected to a large LCD via HDMI. It looked as if I was watching a youtube video on a big screen (pixelated) Not the quality I was hoping for to capture family vacation video. It says...

good, easy to use software good battery life small size

picture quality is only good for youtube or blogs small screen is tough to keep moving objects in frame (read: kids) narrow angle lens, not good for indoors if you have no room to back up zoom buttons are easy to push by accident

USB problem still not fixed

 

I took a chance on this product after reading a few reviews that stated the USB sizing problem was fixed. It's not. I am disappointed because the camera is a nice size and has good fit & finish otherwise.

Small. Good fit & finish.

The USB problems hasn't been fixed. The camera will fit into my desktop, but not into my Apple laptop. It is going back for a replacement.

great

 

small, high battery life, high capacity, pretty good quality video and audio. can play it directly to tv with hdmi cable. also has a stand hole in it that fits with most regular tripods etc.

only thing is that you cant split in an SD card or something and add more storage.

USB Issue...

 

Small, extremely portable video camera. Fun to use.

Poor manufacturing or design. The USB fitting is slightly off size and has to be "convinced" to fit any USB port.

worth it

 

All in all, I think $180 well spent. I keep it in my pocket at all times, and in less than two weeks have already gotten some golden eggs with it. If you have been thinking of

Defective USB

 

Looks exactly like what I expected. Newegg provided their usual fast service.

I have not been able to set it up. The USB plug is manufactured to the wrong dimensions and cannot be plugged in to a PC to set it up and download the required Flip software to the PC. The manufacturer is aware of the problem. It is annoying to have to...
