Worked well at for a month or two. Used it for a 400-500 sq ft apartment with high humidity and mold problems. Container filled up weekly when run continuously in a humid room. I don't know where the 4 pints/day number comes from. After maybe six weeks...

For the price, it's a perfect fit for a small bathroom. I turn it on when I shower, and the mirror doesn't even fog up. No more water stains on the ceiling or nasty mildew.

Returned. After two weeks pulled maybe a cup of water out of a small apartment. The windows were constantly saturated and water dripping on the sills. Yet water wasn't in the humidifier.

This dehumidifier doesn't remove 4 pints per day, my room is only 6 x 20.

I "installed" this in my small bathroom and see a world of difference in just 1 month. I had no idea how much humidity was in the air.

The humidifier did work to pull moisture out of the air. Unfortunately, after a few days of being used the fan started squealing. I was able to return it to my local HD without any trouble at all.
