Defective

 

Since I had to have a working picture frame for a wedding in 3 days, I didn't have time to return it for a replacement. After I whined like a BABY about the restocking fee for a defective product, NewEgg made an exception and waived the restocking fee...

Lots of connectivity options.

Defective out of the box. Would not sync via the USB port to any of 3 computers (2 OS's, Vista and XP). Coby Rep noted that that problem was ""not unknown"" and that troubleshooting was not possible. He advised to ""return it to the retailer.""

Great Frame

 

Don't forget to get a memory stick to go with this. There's no internal memory to hold your pictures

Video plays a little choppy but I bought this as a picture frame and don't expect to use the video play all that much.

Great frame!

 

I haven't tried the MP3 or tiny little speakers, but I bought this for photos. It's just what I was hoping for!

Excellent resolution, excellent menus and interface. Very good viewing angles, great newegg.com price. Two colored frames are included, one wood, one matte black. Good, configurable slide show

Very good for photos and MP3, video is a joke

 

I figured the digital audio player to be a gimmick, but I put a few songs in, and made for a very nice slideshow at the party where we presented the frame as a gift.

Very good display quality. Size is a good compromise between cheap-and-tiny vs. huge-and-expensive

Some of the basic features are only available through the remote, not the buttons on the frame. You lose or break the remote, and the unit may become difficult or impossible to use ; I tried every size and encoding of video I could find, and not one of...

The frame will automatically resume a previously started slide show, even after being unplugged. This makes it perfect for gift giving to the non tech savvy. I shipped to my grandparents and they were able to just plug it in and enjoy.

Required little setup-insert memory card and turn on. Excellent picture quality, multiple settings for slide show and music playback. Great price. Comes with a second black frame, looks like a decent quality traditional picture frame

Sound is a little tinny at high volume, but is more than adequate for a little music to accompany a slideshow
