Lacking some manual controls, a little flimsy

A big improvement on the S55, the S5z has exceptional image quality, a slim design and a reasonable price tag.

Average picture quality compromises the Pentax Optio S5z's otherwise attractive attributes.

Video capture was about average for an ultracompact digital camera as well; we expected better results, considering the specifications.
