Krups Carbon Grey Precision Coffee Maker

I only care about great tasting classic coffee, not the stuff loaded with cream, sugar, caramel, cinnamon, and all that other crap. The Krups does a good job at pulling the deep earthy flavors from the bean without going so far to pull the nasty tannins.

Awkwardly designed coffee maker. The water splashes out and/or seeps into the carafe as the tank is filled. Therefore the coffee tends to be stronger than I like. There are too many buttons and it will be just a matter of time before they fail to...

The coffee pot is overall very attractive, ergonomically sleek and easy to clean. Two factors are disappointing: you cannot take the carafe lid off for easier washing and Krups did away with the end-of-brewing alarm.

We love this coffee maker. We have tried several different ones and this one is a winner. It does drip while pouring, but so did the other three we tried. I think I am to quick. The flavor and brew time work well together. Fast but flavor is well...

Works as advertised ... no complaints.
