Stay Away

 

Apparently, it can NOT withstand the heat the stove generates. After three years, we have had to have it serviced over four times. The sensor board went out, along with a switch. We had to install a flimsy metal black strip called a "heat deflector"...

I got to meet a lot of nice service people

Won't handle high BTU's put out by the Viking companion stove

Would Not Recommend

 

We purchased our Viking microwave less that 3 years ago along with the stove and fridge (it was installed in our second home and used very little).  Recently the turntable stopped working even though the microwave sounded like it was on.  If we pushed...

Looks good but that is as far as it goes

Overpriced, unreliable, not able to perform multilpe functions at the same time

Problems with this microwave

 

I just purchased this microwave and it was installed for use over my Viking range. The installer pointed out that the Viking label was crooked. I called the authorized repair service a couple of times and they were NASTY.

The microwave cooks so far and seems reliable
