Staying on top of things in the gaming space is no easy task. You have to keep consistently churning out new models with the latest hardware to remain...

The new "square" design is refreshing and appreciated, and the phone is very well made.

While helpful in practice, the internal fan can be quite noisy.

All of this ultimately makes the Red Magic 8 Pro an amazing Android gaming device, and a somewhat compromised Android smartphone.

The RedMagic 8 Pro is the quintessential gaming phone — focussing on raw power with a gorgeous display, strong stamina and a top notch thermal management. Just don’t expect it to be good at anything else.
